The opportunity

We are looking for an operations manager who can proactively remove points of friction in our day-to-day and keep the office humming. You will be joining a fun, motivated and experienced team of product and engineering entrepreneurs who are working to make a meaningful impact in the world. If desired, there are opportunities to advance to Director of Operations, and then Chief of Staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Being proactive and systematic about creating a great work environment
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the office, including:
    • Managing vendors for food, cleaning, office supplies, computer equipment, insurance, internet, electricity, etc.
    • Onboarding new employees
    • Executive assistance, including calendaring, booking meetings and trips, and coordinating with outside parties as necessary
    • Shipping and receiving, including screening physical mail
    • Keeping files
    • Scheduling job candidate interviews and office visits
    • Running payroll
    • Bookkeeping, expense reports, and invoicing
    • Managing employee perks and reimbursements
    • Organizing team events, including retreats, off-sites, and dinners
    • Finding office space and maintaining the facilities
    • Working on special projects as needed
